Acoustic Boxes / Plenum Boxes
Our plenum boxes are specifically designed for our linear slot diffusers. Their purpose is to equalize the pressure profile within the box which then means that there is an even velocity across the full face of the grille diffuser.
The plenum or "acoustic " boxes are fitted with a foam insert to reduce noise from the airflow.
They come with three "knock-outs" pre-scored into the surface or 75mm, 125mm and 160mm. The installer can then fix spigots (supplied by others) to the outside of the plenum using tech screws.
